On Friday, the interns kicked off the weekend with a walking tour of Brooklyn Bridge Park. From the historic Brooklyn Heights Promenade, they watched the Macy’s Annual Fireworks show in honor of Independence Day.  It was the first time since 2009 that the show was held on the East River and it gave them the chance to enjoy the beautiful Manhattan skyline from just across the East River.
