Each summer, after a detailed selection process, AGBU assembles a group of preeminent interns who exhibit the high degree of enthusiasm and talent that our supervisors have come to expect as the hallmark of our Summer Internship Program. Resumes are then sent to potential supervisors for review, with the option to interview any or all potential interns. Once an intern is placed with a company, AGBU will assist with all necessary pre-arrival preparation including facilitating required paperwork and clearances. AGBU Program Coordinators are also available to answer any questions and provide continued support to employers during this process and throughout the summer.
AGBU provides housing for interns, as well as a detailed orientation session to ensure each participant is prepared for their internship. The Program also includes an in-depth supplemental curriculum including lectures and career building workshops. Throughout the summer, our Program encourages interns to take advantage of their work experiences and teaches them important career building skills like networking and resume writing. The Program also connects interns with local Armenian professionals who act as mentors during the summer and beyond.
