Thanks to the support of our spirited local Armenian community, Buenos Aires became the first city in South America to host our program. One of the most dynamic cities in Latin America, the rich history and vibrant cultural arts and culinary scene provide a truly unique experience for the group. As one of the largest business and financial centers in the continent, participants have a vast amount of opportunities to obtain valuable work experience in the city’s most sought-after companies and organizations.

Learning the lingo means exciting challenges. Participants will get to know the famous Plaza Armenia and understand the historic bond of the local community. The relationships built with the Armenian community members in Buenos Aires adds a uniquely special element to the summer experience.
Get ready to tango! Among the highlights of activities organized by the local AGBU leadership, participants enjoy attending the world-renowned Señor Tango show at the magnificent Colon Theatre. Also on the list of favorites are two memorable day trips to fill the weekends with adventure.
The entire group enters the land of the gauchos in San Antonio de Areco, a beautiful colonial village in the Estancia in San Antonio de Areco. With plenty to explore, the day is completed with a horseback riding excursion and traditional barbeque lunch. Discovering new terrain, participants also travel north to Tigre city where the Delta of the Paraná River starts.
All participants stay in apartment-style rooms at the Callao Suites in Recoleta located in the heart of Buenos Aires near famous landmarks like el Cementerio de Recoleta, Centro Cultural Recoleta and the Museo de las Bellas Artes.
Accommodation features include shared suites (4 per suite), communal kitchen & sitting area, semi-private bathrooms, house cleaning services (including laundry),Wi-Fi and 24/7 building security guard.
